Cricket: Ireland cricket coach Phil Simmons named two 14-man squads ahead of the European Championships where matches against the Netherlands and Scotland count as full One Day Internationals (ODIs).

Simmons was able to call on all his big names from the county scene with William Porterfield returning as captain and is set to play in all five games. Niall O'Brien and Eoin Morgan come into the side for the two ODIs in place of Gary Wilson and Andrew Poynter.

Morgan has recorded centuries in his last two outings for Middlesex and leads the first-class scoring charts for the county with an average of 68.

O'Brien has been equally impressive for Northamptonshire with 852 runs from all competitions.
