Six men are due in court today in connection with yesterday's seizure of 3,000 plasma TVs in Co Kildare.
Six men aged between 23 years to 51 years were held after gardai investigating organised crime seized the televisions.
A Garda spokesman said more than 3,000 of the TVs were found after officers stopped and searched a truck in the village of Carragh, near Naas, Co Kildare this morning.
It is believed the truck had been stolen from a distribution centre in Santry and the televisions were destined for the black market. The equipment is believed to be worth in excess of €3 million
