If you are already dreading the cold snap of weather which February brings, maybe it is time to book in for one of Declan and Bernadette Fagan's relaxation weekends in their fine house, Temple, in Co Westmeath.
Temple is scarcely half a mile from the main Dublin to Galway road, but when you drive up to the house, you enter a parallel world to our stressed-out standards.
The weekends start with yoga and relaxation on Friday, followed by one of Bernadette Fagan's fabulous dinners. On Saturday, there is massage or reflexology, guided walks or cycling, followed on Sunday by more massage or beauty therapy, and an introduction to some of the techniques which the therapists use.
