An action taken against Shelbourne Football Club by a fan who suffered head injuries in a fall during a match at the club's home ground at Tolka Park was dismissed by the High Court yesterday.

Mr Justice Smith dismissed the claim of Mr Troy Fagan (27), Coultry Road, Santry Avenue, Ballymun, Dublin, related to an incident which occurred while he was attending a friendly match between Shelbourne and Liverpool on January 22nd, 1993.

The Judge reviewed the evidence on behalf of Mr Fagan and on behalf of the club regarding measures taken on crowd control. He said no liability attached to Shelbourne for the man's unfortunate accident.
