Russian Cultural Festival

Takes places from today until the 14th.Traditional music, dance, children’s activities, lively performances, chess challenges, artisan food and cookery, the best in contemporary cinema, exhibitions and lectures are just some of the events taking place across the city including Cows Lane, Temple Bar, Trinity College Dublin, and The Atrium, Dublin Civic Offices, Dublin 8.

Artist Helena Gorey's The Orchard exhibition takes place at the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny Castle from today until April 21st. It continues Gorey's ongoing concern with place, looking at the restoration of an orchard planted in Kilkenny by her grandfather in the 1930s. Using various different media the exhibition focuses on the myriad of colours and wild plants to be found there. See butlergallery.com.
