Helsinki - A Finnish Internet millionaire said yesterday that he had been fined 500,000 markka ($70,600) for speeding, the largest ever traffic ticket in Finland, where people are fined according to the size of their income and their speed.

"The road was wide and I was feeling good," Mr Jakkoo Rytsola, co-founder of Internet service provider Jippii, said in his column in the City Lehti weekly published yesterday. "All I can do now is hope that my fine is used wisely."

Mr Rytsola, who has a fleet of fast cars including a yellow Lamborghini, was clocked driving at 70km/h (43.50 mph) in a 40km/h zone in late October.
