Tottenham have agreed a fee with Brighton for highly-rated England Under-21 international striker Bobby Zamora.
The Premiership club are now discussing personal terms with the player in the hope of bringing the 22-year-old to White Hart Lane.
Spurs were linked with the former Bristol Rovers player earlier in the year but the club denied making an approach to Brighton.
Zamora played a key role as the Seagulls reached the First Division on the back of successive promotions in 2001 and 2002.

Zamora also managed to score 14 goals as the club battled in vain against relegation last season.
