National League champions St Patrick's Athletic last night parted company with manager Liam Buckley who has been replaced, with immediate effect, by the club's chief executive, Pat Dolan.
Under Buckley, who led the club to the title last season, St Patrick's had lost their last three games and the Dubliners are currently 11 points adrift of league leaders Shelbourne.
This will be Dolan's second spell in charge, the former Galway United and Shamrock Rovers player having also guided the Inchicore club to the championship during the 1997-98 season.
