Staff at the National Museum say they will not co operate with any new senior managers appointed on a contract basis. Technical and professional staff issued the warning after advertisements for senior posts at the museum were advertised while discussions were continuing with their union, IMPACT, over vacancies and promotions.
The Department of Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht said that it had decided to advertise the posts after failing to reach agreement with the union.
