The Supreme Court yesterday continued a stay on Monday's High Court decision rejecting a bid by Bovale Developments Ltd, its director, Thomas Bailey, and his wife, Caroline, to stop the Flood Tribunal investigating their financial affairs in public.

After giving his decision on Monday, the President of the High Court, Mr Justice Morris, put a two-day stay on his order to allow the Baileys' side to consider bringing an appeal to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court was told yesterday that the High Court decision is being appealed. Yesterday, the Supreme Court continued the stay until March 16th when a date for the appeal hearing may be set.
