Hounds stolen from a Co Limerick fox-hunting club two weeks ago have been returned to their owners after gardai found them near Killaloe, Co Clare, following a tip-off.
The 25 harrier hounds, worth £7,000, were stolen from the Fedamore Harriers Club after thieves forced an entry and enticed the dogs into a large vehicle with dog nuts. The dogs were found in a farmyard shed. The farmer who had bought them was unaware they were stolen.
