A woman and her two children were recovering in Tallaght Hospital yesterday after a stolen vehicle collided with her car at Blackglen Road in Sandyford, Dublin.

Hers was one of 10 cars struck by the stolen Honda during a high-speed chase through the area on Thursday night.

The incident began at about 8 p.m. when a passenger in the stolen car snatched a woman's handbag at Clonskea Road. As the car drove off, it hit a number of moving and parked vehicles. It later rammed a Garda squad car, injuring two gardai.

The stolen vehicle was abandoned at Kilmacud Road. No arrests were made.
