Cricket:Andrew Strauss has been left out of England's opening warm-up match for the Cricket World Cup against Bermuda.
The Middlesex batsman struggled for form during the recent Commonwealth Bank Series in Australia and looks to have paid the price as England build-up to the start of the tournament.
Strauss was overlooked alongside Ravi Bopara as England welcomed back captain Michael Vaughan and Kevin Pietersen into their team for the 13-a-side warm-up.
England also selected all four of the seamers who are competing for two places in England's opening group match of the tournament against New Zealand on March 16.
Jon Lewis, James Anderson, Sajid Mahmood and Liam Plunkett were all chosen in the 13 and must impress England's management in today's game and Friday's other warm-up match against Australia.
England 13:M Vaughan (capt), E Joyce, I Bell, P Collingwood, A Flintoff, K Pietersen, P Nixon (wkt), L Plunkett, S Mahmood, J Lewis, J Anderson, M Panesar, J Dalrymple.
