A suicide bomber who killed five Israeli tourists in Bulgaria may have had an accomplice who carried a fake US driving licence, the interior ministry has said.
Officials handed out two computer-generated images of a white, unshaven man, aged 25-30, who they said has been linked to the attack on a bus in Burgas airport on July 18th.
Investigators are still trying to identify the bomber, who also killed a Bulgarian driver and wounded more than 30 people in the blast. Israel accused Iran and Lebanese group Hizbullah of being behind the bombing. Iran denied the charge and accused Israel of carrying out the attack.
The ministry also published a copy of what it said was a fake driving licence, purportedly issued by the US state of Michigan. – (Reuters)
