Eastbourne - A gifted public school teacher with a "dark secret" killed himself by jumping over a cliff after he was charged with possessing indecent photographs, an inquest heard yesterday. Mr Adrian Stark (33), director of music at St John's School, Leatherhead, Surrey, died from multiple injuries after jumping from Beachy Head, near Eastbourne, Sussex. Days earlier police had searched his flat at the school and charged him with three specimen counts of possession of indecent photographs of a child. East Sussex coroner, Mr David Wadman, recorded a verdict that Mr Stark had killed himself.
