Two Lithuanians wanted by police in relation to a double murder in Northern Ireland have fled to London, it was revealed today.
Detectives investigating the murders said that the two men arrived by coach at Victoria Coach Station in central London early on May 14th.
Two days earlier, two men, who were also Lithuanians, were bludgeoned and stabbed to death at a house in Sandy Street in Newry, Co Down, the detectives said.
The bodies were then dumped in thick undergrowth by a roadside near Warrenpoint Golf Course.
A Northern Ireland police spokesman said the coach with the men on board left Belfast on the ferry to Stranraer at 4.15 p.m. on May 13th.
Detectives are currently tracing passengers on the coach and ferry to question them about the two men.
