Best's agent Phil Hughes is to bring the 59-year-old's body home to his native city on Friday. A private service will then be held at the family home on the city's Cregagh estate before the cortege makes its three-mile journey to Stormont on Saturday morning.

Best will later be buried beside his late mother Ann at Roselawn Cemetery on the Castlereagh hills overlooking the city.
