A boy aged 16 was critically ill in hospital last night after an assault outside a busy filling station.
The victim, from Limerick city, suffered head injuries in the attack on a forecourt in Corbally, near the city.
A 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons appeared at Limerick District Court yesterday charged with assault causing serious harm to the boy at the Applegreen station, Corbally, Co Clare, on July 23rd.
Judge Aeneas McCarthy remanded him in custody until tomorrow when he’s due before the children’s sitting of Limerick District Court.
