The funeral is taking place in Derry today of Aaron Toland (29) who was one of 89 people killed in a plane crash in the Thai resort of Phuket earlier this month.

His body was returned to his family on Friday after the crash on Sunday, September 16th.
More than 1,000 people attended requiem mass in St Columba's Church, Long Tower, Derry, today.
The University of Ulster graduate was on a backpacking trip to Thailand with his friend Chris Cooley, who is recovering in hospital.

Two other survivors, John O'Donnell from Co Clare and his friend, William Burke, from Co Tipperary are recovering in hospital from extensive burns.
