This weekend a number of Irish Times writers and production staff will swap their working environment in the centre of Dublin for a prefab in the middle of a field on a farm in Laois.
From this building, which is about the same size as the shed at the bottom of your garden, the team will produce The Ticketat the Electric Picnic.
This is a daily publication covering the boutique festival to be held at Thomas Cosby's stately pile in the middle of Stradbally from today until Sunday. It is the first time a daily publication of this kind has been produced at an Irish music festival.
Published tomorrow and Sunday and distributed for free from noon on each day to festival-goers, The Ticket at the Electric Picnic will contain artist interviews, news, festival recommendations and reviews of the previous day's and night's performances.
There will be also be food reviews from the various stalls, selling everything from gourmet burgers to pies and mash, as well as coverage of the huge number of sideshows and events at the picnic.
Each publication will also contain a selection of photos from the festival taken by Irish Times photographer Kate Geraghty. Those not attending the festival can check out content from The Ticket at the Electric Picnic online at www.ireland.com/theticket from Monday.
