For once, the words "by public demand" ring true

For once, the words "by public demand" ring true. Owen Mc Cafferty's Mojo Mickybo, at the Project from next Wednesday to Saturday, July 24th, scooped two of four awards at the Dublin Fringe Festival last year. It focuses on the friendship between two boys, Mojo and Mickybo, their obsession with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and their relationship since the 1970s. It lasts only an hour but it's an hour of funny, physical and moving drama. Kabosh, the Belfast company which present the show, describes itself as the only company in Ireland or the UK specialising in theatre inspired by film. Owen Mc Cafferty is a National Theatre Studio writer and has been nominated for an Irish Times Theatre Award. He makes a winning team with director Karl Wallace and the actors (left) Niall Shanahan and Fergal McElherron.
