Two motorcyclists were among three people killed on roads over the weekend.
The latest death happened in Co Tipperary at around 9.30am today when a biker collided with an SUV at Abbey Street, Cahir, Co Tipperary.
The dead man was aged in his 30s. There were no other people involved in the crash. Investigators closed off the road to carry out a crash scene examination.
Yesterday seven people were involved in a collision in west Co Wicklow involving four vehicles at around 4.30pm.
Two cars and two SUVs crashed on the N81 at Mullacagh near Baltinglass at around 4.30pm, killing the driver of one of the vehicles.
Gardaí today named the dead man as Ciaran Shannon (37) of Annacurra, Aughrim.
The six others were hurt and brought to Naas and Tallaght Hospitals although their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Yesterday afternoon a motorbike carrying two people crashed into an SUV on the Cardiffsbridge Road area of Finglas shortly before 3.30pm.
One of the men died while the other was rushed to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries.
The dead man has been named by gardaí as Karl Brown (24) of Cappagh Drive, Finglas.
According to Garda figures 126 people have been killed on the Republic’s roads since the beginning of the year.
