A third teenager has been charged in connection with an arson attack in which a young Limerick brother and sister suffered horrific burns.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Limerick District Court yesterday, where he was charged with intentionally or recklessly causing serious harm to Gavin and Millie Murray in Pineview Gardens, Moyross, on September 10th last.
Millie (6) and Gavin (4) are still receiving treatment at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin, Dublin, for the burns they suffered when the car they were sitting in was petrol-bombed.
The 16-year-old charged yesterday is the third teenager to be charged in connection with the incident. Two 17-year-olds are currently before the courts on the same charges. All three youths are due before Limerick District Court on January 2nd.
