During the heated exchanges on the planning row in the Dail this week FG leader John Bruton suggested that perhaps it could be stated that the investigation would centre on the £30,000 handed over at Briargate. Briargate is the name of Ray Burke's Swords home. There have been endless quips since about Watergate and thorny questions.
