Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an armed raid which took at a bookmaker's premises in Harmonstown on Saturday.
A man with a handgun entered the building, at Brookwood Rise, at 11.10 a.m. He escaped on foot with a small amount of cash.
Gardaí said he was in his 30s and described him as being five feet, five inches in height, of thin build and with tight dark hair, receding at the front. He had a deep voice and was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, white runners and worn black gloves.
There were two other armed robberies in the city on Friday afternoon. Two armed men raided an office in Tesco supermarket on Drumcondra Road Upper at lunchtime. An hour later, a man with a sawn-off shotgun entered a building society on Collins Avenue and made off with a sum of cash.
Gardaí do not suspect that Friday's robberies are linked.
