Three men have been arrested following a shooting incident in the Dunsink Lane area of Finglas in Dublin this afternoon.
A Garda spokesman said a man was left at Cappagh Hospital at around 3.30 p.m. with apparent gunshot wounds.
The three men were arrested when their car was stopped by gardai a short distance away. They are being held at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
The injured man was transferred to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown for further treatment. His condition is not known.
