Three young men have lost their lives after they were involved in a two-car head-on collision in Co Kerry this morning.

Three young men have lost their lives after they were involved in a two-car head-on collision in Co Kerry this morning.

The collision happened on the Castleisland to Abbeyfeale Road about two miles on the Limerick side of Castleisland on the N21 at 10.35am.

Gardaí confirmed that three people died in the collision and have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward.

In particular, gardaí have called the driver of a blue coloured Saab which stopped at the scene of the accident and the driver of a red car which has a Dublin registration plate to contact them.

A 26-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving collided with another vehicle in Co Tipperary last night.

The crash happened at around 9.50pm at Lismalin, Mullinahone. Gardaí said the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

Gardai have named the 31-year-old man who died after the tractor he was driving overturned and struck a wall in Co Limerick yesterday afternoon as Pawel Urbanowicz.

Mr Urbanowicz was a Polish National who who was residing in Tipperary Town. The accident happened at Ballynoe, Castletown, Kilmallock at around 3.40pm yesterday.
