Three doctors will appear at the Old Bailey in London today charged in connection with the failed car bombings in London and Glasgow last June.
Bilal Abdullah (27), and Mohammed Asha (26) are accused of conspiracy to cause explosions likely to endanger life.
Dr Abdullah was arrested after a flaming SUV was driven into the doors of the arrivals hall of Glasgow Airport on June 30th. Dr Asha was arrested on the M6 motorway near Sandbach in Cheshire later that day.
The previous day police discovered two cars laden with gas canisters and fuel parked in central London.
Sabeel Ahmed (26), who worked at Halton Hospital in Runcorn, Cheshire, is charged with possessing information that could have prevented an act of terrorism.
His brother, engineer Kafeel Ahmed (27), died of burns suffered in the Glasgow attack.
All three are in custody and will appear by video link.
