Three men arrested in connection with the discovery of a cannabis-growing factory in Co Carlow have been released without charge.
The men, all in their 20s, were arrested after gardaí seized more than 500 cannabis plants and associated paraphernalia during the search of a property near Leighlinbridge on Tuesday.
Gardaí say the plants seized could have a street value of up to €200,000.
The men, who were being detained at Carlow Garda station, were released without charge yesterday and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions on the matter.
