Three people are being questioned by gardaí in Dublin this evening after the a raid on a counterfeiting operation in Co Louth.
Gardai from Blanchardstown from the Louth/Meath Division seized a large quantity of DVDs in Duleek, Co Meath this afternoon in the raid this afternoon.
A 29-year-old man and two juvenile males, were taken into in custody in Blancharstown Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Counterfeit DVD's believed to total in excess of 5,000 were seized and included many recent film releases.
A quantity of computer equipment and printers valued in excess of €300,000 and four vehicles have also been seized in the operation.
It is understood the raid was part of Operation Anvil - the recently announced crackdown on criminal gang activity and detectives consider the counterfeiting operation to be one of the most sophisticated ever uncovered.
