Three men have died in road accidents in Louth, Meath and Galway.

Three men have died in road accidents in Louth, Meath and Galway.

Mr Keith Fleming (20), of Dunmore, Co Galway, was hit by a car at Castle Street, Dunmore, at 1.50 a.m. yesterday. Gardai at Tuam are investigating.

Mr Brendan Cassidy (31), of Beechwood Drive, Dunleer, Co Louth, was pronounced dead on arrival at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, after the car he was driving on the main Dublin-Belfast road hit an embankment at Mooremount, near Dunleer, about 11.20 p.m. on Sunday. A front-seat passenger was injured and also taken to the hospital.

Mr Barry O'Neill (35), of Marian Park, Drogheda, died after the car in which he was a front-seat passenger went out of control and hit a wall near Laytown, Co Meath, around 6 p.m. on Sunday. The driver and another passenger were injured. All three were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
