Three people have died in two separate road crashes today.
In Co Sligo, two men in their late teens were killed when the van they were travelling in hit a tree at Glenfarne on the Sligo to Enniskillen Road at around 5 a.m.
The driver of the van and another passenger were injured and taken to Sligo Hospital, where the driver is said to be in serious condition. No other vehicle was involved.
Earlier this morning a 26-year-old man died following a road crash in Co Kildare.

A Garda spokesman said the man, who was travelling alone, died after his car hit a tree at around 3 a.m. at Garrisker on the Broadford to Edenderry road.
No other vehicle was involved.
