Detectives have arrested three men following the suspicious death of a man in north Belfast.

Detectives have arrested three men following the suspicious death of a man in north Belfast.

The man, believed to be in his thirties, was found with severe head and body injuries in the Jamaica Road area at around 3 a.m. today. He later died in hospital.

A spokeswoman for the Police Service Northern Ireland confirmed that three men, aged 28, 25 and 22, were arrested in connection with the attack.

Police have identified the victim but have not yet released his name. They have appealed to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area in the early hours of the morning to contact them.
