Three Palestinian militants were killed in an attack on an Israeli army post guarding a Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip today.
The three were killed when a car pulled up at a checkpoint guarding the Gush Katif settlement bloc and one of the attackers opened fire.
The car then rammed a concrete barrier guarding the position and exploded, security sources said.
Israeli emergency services working in the settlement bloc said they had found the bodies of three Palestinians at the scene.
