Rome - Three people alleging injuries suffered during a heavy-handed crackdown by Italian security forces at the G8 summit last month lodged lawsuits yesterday in Genoa.
Mr Simonetta Crisci, the lawyer who registered the cases, said another four or five lawsuits would be lodged by tomorrow. The three said they had been hurt while in detention after being arrested by army soldiers or police officers. Mr Crisci said all three had medical certificates.
