Three men charged under anti-terror laws for failing to disclose information about the failed London bombings were remanded in custody today.
Under tight security Shadi Abdel Gadir (22), Omar Nagmeloin Almagboul (20), and Mohamed Kabashi (23), all from Brighton, appeared at Horseferry Road Magistrates' Court in central London.
The case against the men was adjourned until August 11st when they are due to appear at Bow Street Magistrates' Court.
The three, who were all arrested on July 31st in Brighton, were charged under Section 38 of the Terrorism Act 2000. The charge was today read to the court.
The men are said to have had information that might be of "material assistance in securing the apprehension, prosecution or conviction" of suspected failed Shepherd's Bush attacker Hussain Osman.
The defendants arrived at court in armoured police vans with a police helicopter hovering overhead. Family and friends were in court to hear proceedings as the men were led in wearing prison issue blue sweatshirts and trousers.
No applications for bail were made on behalf of any of the defendants and no pleas were taken. They were remanded into custody.
A total of six people have now appeared in court charged with failing to disclose information to the police in the wake of the July 21st attempted bombings of three Tube trains and a bus.
They are accused of failing to help police apprehend a person in the UK "for an offence involving the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism" between July 21st and July 31st.
Two addresses in Brighton were raided by officers on July 31st in which a total of seven people - six men and a woman - were arrested. The other four have since been released.
Yesterday the wife and sister-in-law of an alleged July 21st bomber denied failing to disclose information about the suspect. Yeshiemebet Girma (29), and Mulumebet Girma (21), are also alleged to have withheld details about Osman.
The first man to be charged in connection with the failed attacks, Ismael Abdurahman, was remanded in custody at Bow Street on Thursday, also accused of failing to disclose information about Osman.
All six defendants are due to appear together at Bow Street Magistrates' Court on August 11 st.
All four suspected terrorists who allegedly tried to set off four explosions across London on July 21st have been arrested. They have yet to appear in court.
