Three US soldiers were killed in action in clashes in Baghdad and a city south of the capital, the US military said today.
Two of the victims died yesterday afternoon in Baghdad after their patrol was struck by a roadside bomb, a statement said.
Another soldier was shot dead on Wednesday in the city of Iskandariyah, 30 miles south of Baghdad, during fighting there, the military said.
