Gardaí in Dublin are investigating three separate shootings in the city overnight.
A 33-year-old man has been taken to Tallaght hospital suffering from several gunshot wounds after he was shot at a house at Homelawn Road shortly after 10pm.
Shortly after this a second man was shot in a laneway close to Homelawn Road, Tallaght.
The 50-year-old man was shot in the leg and is also being treated in hospital for his injuries.
Gardaí from Tallaght have preserved scenes are being preserved and a full investigation is underway. They have not ruled out that both shootings are related.
Meanwhile, Gardaí from Sundrive Road are investigating the shooting of a man in a house at Monasterboice Road, Crumlin.
A 31-year-old man received a wound to his arm shortly before 3am this morning and was taken to Saint James Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
