Judgment is to be given today in the appeal against the lenience of a three-year jail sentence on a woman-beater that outraged his victims and women's groups in Northern Ireland.
Stephen Cahoon (27), of Rockview Terrace, Money more, Co Derry, was jailed last October after he admitted attacking two women in Ballymena, one of them his former girlfriend and mother of his child.
