Dublin's intimate Focus Theatre has done more than its share to foster new talents in the stage's many disciplines, especially writing and acting. Its current production of Tillsonburg is an excellent example. The author is MalachyMcKenna, who also demonstrates a considerable flair for acting in Ii own work. The other four cast members, all male, are equally versatile, and together they generate some real excitement of the kind too often missing in today's theatre. The Focus is the longest running fringe venue in Dublin, and its productions are eagerly awaited by its many fans. This is its final offering for the year, and well up to its standards of excellence.
