The events leading up to yesterday's discovery.
• Friday afternoon: Gardaí are informed by an undertaker that Adrian Dunne has been in touch to discuss funeral arrangements for the Dunne family.
• Friday evening: Fr Richard Redmond (right) calls to the Dunne house for two hours following a request from gardaí.
• Saturday afternoon: Gardaí inform the HSE of their concerns for the Dunne family. Supt Peter Finn speaks to a HSE official and outlines the information available to the Garda.
• Gardaí also contact Fr William Cosgrave, but he is unable to get any response by phone or by calling to the house.
• Sunday afternoon: Garda patrols go through the Moine Rua estate and pass the Dunne house, but do not attempt to gain entry.
• Monday 1.30pm: Gardaí go to the Dunne residence where they are due to meet HSE officials, having contacted them earlier in the day. The blinds are down and there is no answer at the front door. They gain entry through the back door and find the bodies.
