The founder and chairman of radio stations Today FM and Phantom Radio Brian Molloy has died.
Mr Molloy (65) died today at the Blackrock Clinic in Dublin after an illlness.
An Irish music industry spokesman described Mr Molloy as a "major player" in the business for the past four decades.
He was the founder and chairman of Today FM and Phantom Radio, where his partners included MCD promoter Denis Desmond, U2 manager Paul McGuinness and Riverdance producer John McColgan.

Mr Molloy was a friend of the late Dermot Morgan, he released the Scrap Saturday CDs, featuring material aired on the RTE radio shows.
He is survived by his wife Carole, sons Graham and Mark and daughter Nikki.
