Australian top seed Lleyton Hewitt moved into the second round of the Wimbledon championships today with a 6-4, 7-5, 6-1 win over Sweden's Jonas Bjorkman.
Hewitt now faces either America's Cecil Mamiit or FreGregory Carraz in the next round.
Number eight seed Thomas Johansson, however, was knocked out by Brazil's Flavio Saretta.
Croatian qualifier Mario Ancic dumped Swiss seventh seed Roger Federer from the championships with a 6-3, 7-6 (7/2), 6-3 victory. Ancic meets Jan Vacek of the Czech Republic for a place in the third round.
