An Englishman choked a 17-year-old girl to death because she accused him of being a bad father, a Central Criminal Court trial heard.
Mr Jonathan Kepple (19), Deptford, London, agrees he killed Ms Rachel Sandyman at waste ground in Mahon, Cork, on February 5th, 2000, but has pleaded not guilty to murder. It was the third day of the trial.
The court heard that Mr Kepple at first denied all knowledge of the death of an unidentified teenager whose body had been found near his uncle's home. He later broke down and admitted killing the girl. The case continues.
