The morning sitting of the Mahon tribunal was cancelled yesterday due to the illness of witness Tom Gilmartin.
This was the second time this week that the property developer was unable to attend the tribunal due to ill-health.
On Wednesday he apologised to the tribunal for his absence on the previous day, saying he had a problem with low blood pressure. The 73-year-old property developer had major heart surgery in 2004 and has only been giving evidence in the mornings because of his health problems.
His evidence was due to finish today for the summer, so he will not resume the stand now until September 11th.
Mr Gilmartin has been giving evidence about his claims of political corruption and bribery in connection with his Quarryvale development.
