Irish electronic payment company Trintech announced today that retailer 7-Eleven has chosen Trintech's transaction software to operate its in-store kiosks.
Vcom is 7-Eleven stores' self-service kiosk that offers banking and other services.
Based in Dallas, 7-Eleven is the world's largest convenience retailer. It operates and franchises up to 5,800 stores in the United States and Canada and licenses a further 17,000 throughout the world.
The news comes in advance of Trintech's third-quarter results, expected to be released on Wednesday.
