Electronic payment specialists Trintech stayed in profit in the first quarter and said it remained cautiously optimistic that new products would fuel future growth.
The Dublin-based group said first quarter revenues of $13.1 million and net income of $392,000.
Cyril McGuire, Trintech's chairman and chief executive described the results as "solid" and reiterated the company's strategy of focusing on core products in payments and funds management systems divisions.
"In what is still a cautious technology market, we are continuing to make investment in new products and new markets to strengthen our competitive position," he said.
