A. This is a photograph of some leaders of communities of faith in Ireland.
a. Give the titles of any two leaders associated with communities of faith in Ireland.
b. Imagine you are the leader of a community of faith in Ireland. Briefly describe your role.
- Imagine you are on a train with a woman and a man sitting opposite you. During the journey the woman leaves her seat without taking her bag. A moment later you see the man getting ready to leave the train with the woman's bag under his coat.
- Describe two different ways of dealing with this situation.
- Explain how a person's religious moral vision could influence his/her decision-making in this situation.
- Pick one of the following world religions you have studied: Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and Judaism.
- Describe one important event that inspired the founder/earliest followers of this world religion.
Explain how this event can be seen as an inspiration for the followers of this faith today.
- People often look back on life and recognise the experience of mystery at certain times and in certain places. Identify one life experience and explain how it could hold a sense of mystery for a person.
