Tullow Oil has announced that Uganda will get eight barrels for every 10 drilled by the exploration firm under a deal signed by both parties, it has been reported.
The company has yet to decide on the type and size of refinery it will build in Uganda, the Kampala-based newspaper Saturday Visionreported, citing Aidan Heavey, its chief executive officer.
Tullow, which has the most licences in Africa, has so far invested $500 million in Uganda.
