Coronation Street star Tina Hobley married graphic designer Mr Steve Wallington (32) in Ennis Cathedral, Co Clare, on Saturday. Among those present were her grandparents from Liscannor. As a child, Tina (26) was a regular visitor to the west Clare village.
A team of security men was employed as stars from the Street arrived, including Jim McDonald, Judy Mallet, Ashley Peacock and Natalie Horrocks. Ennis-based Father Pat Larkin officiated.
The bride, who played barmaid Samantha, was written out of the series last week.
